DAY 1: Arrival in Casablanca

Arrive in Casablanca, Morocco's modern economic capital. Meet your representative and transfer to your hotel. Depending on arrival time, visit the impressive Hassan II Mosque, dramatically set beside the Atlantic Ocean.

Evening at leisure and welcome dinner introducing you to Moroccan cuisine and hospitality.

Enjoy a brief orientation session on Morocco customs and etiquette by our expereinced tour manager, setting the tone for a respectful and enriching travel experience.

Day 2: Casablanca → Rabat

After breakfast, travel to Rabat, Morocco's elegant capital and one of the country's four imperial cities. Begin with the monumental Hassan Tower, the unfinished 12th-century minaret that has become one of Rabat's most recognisable landmarks, and the nearby Mausoleum of Mohammed V, an impressive example of modern Moroccan architecture blending traditional craftsmanship with a grand ceremonial setting.

Continue to the Kasbah of the Udayas, a charming fortified quarter overlooking the Bou Regreg River and the Atlantic Ocean. Wander through its narrow whitewashed lanes, quiet courtyards and blue-and-white houses, and enjoy the beautiful views towards the ocean and neighbouring Salé.

Later, explore the historic medina of Rabat, where traditional shops, craftsmen and local life unfold along its atmospheric lanes. Take time to browse for Moroccan handicrafts, textiles, leather goods and other local treasures, or simply pause at a café and watch everyday life pass by.

The day offers a wonderful introduction to Morocco's royal heritage, Islamic architecture and coastal culture, combining grand monuments with the more intimate character of its historic neighbourhoods.

DAY 3: Rabat → Chefchaouen

After breakfast, drive north through the scenic Rif Mountains to enchanting Chefchaouen, Morocco’s famous “Blue City”, nestled dramatically among the mountains. Explore the beautifully painted blue-and-white lanes of the medina, wandering through charming little squares, traditional houses and lively souks. Discover local handicrafts, woven textiles, leather goods and other products made by the craftsmen of the Rif region. Take time to pause at a café, enjoy the relaxed mountain atmosphere and soak up the unmistakable character of this photogenic town. Evening at leisure to explore the medina at your own pace.

Day 4: Chefchaouen → Volubilis → Fez

Depart for the ancient Roman ruins of Volubilis, one of North Africa’s most important archaeological sites and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Wander among the remarkably preserved columns, basilicas and triumphal arches, and admire the beautiful mosaic floors that reveal glimpses of life in Roman Mauretania nearly 2,000 years ago. Continue to Fez, Morocco’s cultural and spiritual heart and one of the country’s great imperial cities. In the evening, step into the atmospheric old medina, a fascinating maze of narrow lanes, traditional workshops, souks and hidden courtyards. Take your first taste of Fez’s timeless character as the city comes alive towards evening.

DAY 5: Discover Fez

Spend a full day exploring the extraordinary Medina of Fez, one of the largest and best-preserved medieval cities in the Arab-Muslim world and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Wander through its maze of narrow lanes and discover the magnificent Bou Inania Madrasa, the historic Al Quaraouiyine area, Nejjarine Square and its beautifully decorated fountain, traditional souks and centuries-old artisan quarters. Visit the famous leather tanneries and see craftsmen continuing techniques passed down through generations. Along the way, discover the extraordinary craftsmanship for which Fez is renowned — from colourful ceramics and intricate brassware to leather goods, carpets, textiles and traditional woodwork. Take time to absorb the sights, sounds and aromas of this remarkable living medieval city.
