A LIFE OF TRAVEL

More than three decades on the road.

We have travelled through mountains and plains, deserts and forests, ancient cities and remote villages. Along the way, we have encountered extraordinary cultures, remarkable craftsmanship, living textile traditions, regional cuisines, music, dance, wildlife and landscapes that change dramatically from one part of the subcontinent to another.

We have travelled in almost every way imaginable — by train, coach, car, boat and aircraft; on horseback, camelback and ponyback; and sometimes simply on foot.

That experience has taught us something important. The way you travel can be just as important as where you travel.

WHAT TRAVEL HAS TAUGHT US

The memorable journeys are rarely accidental.

In our earlier travels, arrangements were often made through different companies and individuals. Some experiences were exceptional. Others were considerably less so.

Over time, we began to notice a pattern. The most memorable journeys were rarely memorable by accident. They came together because someone understood the destination, anticipated the details and cared about how the traveller experienced the journey.

That realisation became the foundation of WanderFree.
